Solid advantages on 2 levels:lower costs, more environmental protection

Freedom from oil results in significant cost reductions for:
- Maintenance
- Repair and
- replacement of downstream components.

All oil-lubricated compressors continually operate against the full operating pressure, regardless of the amount of air required.
The excess quantity of air is discharged at full pressure.
However, for approx. 85% of the operating time, the compressor runs idle and therefore requires an average of 590 l of fuel per year.
Oil-free brake air compressors from Neander offer the possibility of interrupting the air supply by means of a shut-off valve in the inlet pipe, which is controlled by the operating pressure. With this, once the operating pressure has been reached, the compressor idles, i.e. no air is delivered.
Conventional compressors are unsuitable for this, as they would very quickly become contaminated with oil.
