Sensible: one thing and the other
With the innovative crankshaft technology from NEANDER MOTORS it is possible to combine the cost and space advantages of piston compressors with the performance advantages of scroll and screw compressors.
The Neander compressor essentially consists of the following components:
- Dry-running crankshaft drive with 2 crankshafts and 2 connecting rods
- Dry-running piston with cylinder
- Synchronous operation with 2 gear wheels
- Cylinder head with an independent inlet and outlet valve
Due to the double crankshaft technology, the piston runs in the cylinder without any lateral forces whatsoever. Only a force-free guidance is necessary in order to centrally guide the piston. This creates the prerequisite for operating a specially coated piston with dry running at a constant pressure of 12.5 bar.
Both crankshafts turn at the same speed, but in opposite directions. This creates the prerequisite for compensation of masses and torques.
