Björn Thomsen appointed CFO of Neander Motors AG, Andreas Roth appointed Managing Director of Neander Shark GmbH

Effective from 1 January 2018, Björn Thomsen (35), previously Head of Finance and Controlling at Neander Shark GmbH, is appointed to the Board of Management of Neander Motors AG with responsibility for Finance, Controlling and Taxes in order to manage the business of Neander Motors AG in cooperation with the Chairman of the Board of Management, Lutz W. Lester, and the Chief Technical Officer, Claus Brüstle.

At the same time, Andreas Roth (39) will take on the position of Managing Director of Neander Shark GmbH in order to manage the 100% subsidiary of Neander Motors AG together with Lutz W. Lester and Claus Brüstle.

Björn Thomsen holds a degree in business information technology. He began his professional career in 2005 as an IT systems engineer at Peter Wolters GmbH, where he worked as financial analyst and controller. From 2012 he was Head of Controlling at Richard Ditting GmbH & Co. KG before moving to Neander Shark GmbH in 2013 as Head of Finance and Controlling.

Andreas Roth studied mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) with a focus on “Energy and Drive Technology”. His career includes stations at Robert Bosch GmbH, in the engine development department of General Motors Powertrain GmbH, the group management of application technology at Mahle König GmbH & Co KG as well as the management of application technology and sales at capricorn Automotive GmbH. Andreas Roth joined Neander Shark GmbH as Assistant Executive Officer in October 2015 and was appointed authorized signatory of the company in August 2016.
