Dtorque 111 goes into series production

On the occasion of the 5th fair participation at the „boot Düsseldorf“ we were able to report the serial production start of the world´s first turbodiesel outboard with dual crankshaft technology

Parallel to the presentation of the Dtorque 111 with the serial number 0001 at the 48th international „boot Düsseldorf“ – the world’s largest indoor boat show – from 21 to 29 January, further series-produced Dtorque 111 engines were picked up by Yanmar Marine International B.V. directly from our partner Selva’s factory  for global distribution.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our NEANDER-Team on-site in Italy and, of course, also the involved Selva employees, who are responsible for the leg and the assembling of our engine, for their outstanding commitment.

For the first time working boats of 5  – 7 m length in the market segment from 40 – 60 HP can be powered by a 2-Cylinder-diesel engine now – which impresses with a powerful drive, low fuel consumption, and outstanding reliability.

Therefore we can call ourselves manufacturers of outboard engines now!
