On February 10th the NEANDER SHARK team welcomed high-ranking visitors from Schleswig-Holstein’s politics:

Reinhard Meyer, Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Employment, Transport and Technology, visited our company together with Katja Werner, service office SMEs.

Lutz W. Lester and our visit during the guided tour

Managing Director Lutz W. Lester welcomed Mr. Meyer and Ms. Werner and made a guided tour through the “W8”, the creative business location and former place of activity of Kiel’s famous comic book hero “WERNER”. Here ca. 100 people from a wide variety of industries work under one roof.

Afterwards Lutz W. Lester showed NEANDER SHARK’s premises. In the following conversation he demonstrated Neander’s importance within the maritime world which was recently underlined by a successful participation at the boat show “boot” Düsseldorf and the awarding of the SEAMASTER to Lutz W. Lester.

Our visitors were impressed not only by the unique setting but also by our engine’s development progress. Both parties agreed that a future interchange between NEANDER and Schleswig-Holstein’s policies would be fruitful. A follow-up meeting is already in planning.
