Impressive exhibition days in maritime Hamburg

The next exhibition is already on the horizon: The preparation for the “boot” in Düsseldorf in January 2015 is in full progress and we are excitedly looking forward to the next steps of the development of our outboarder and the presentation of these at the “boot”!

This year 2.141 exhibitors from 67 countries attracted more than 50.000 visitors from all over the world to the SMM in Hamburg. Besides the main topics of environment protection and improvement in efficiency the visitors had the opportunity to have deep insights of the manifold news of the maritime world. Neander Shark has been represented for the second time at this specialized fair and presented its worldwide unique 50 hp turbodiesel outboard engine.

The shoots of the test rides at the Lake Como provided the visitors with a great impression of our engine in action. In addition the visitors were able to get a personal impression of the smooth running and power of the Neander Shark engine by taking a test ride themselves at the marina of Hamburg. The Selva Smartline 19 equipped with one of our prototype engine has been placed at the marina for a quick test ride. But unfortunately this service could only be offered on a few days of the exhibition.

The four intensive days filled with lots of inquiries and great interest in the development of Neander Shark and its engine went by quite fast and the brilliant feedbacks completed the through and through successful exhibition.

The SMM could definitely cope with the promise of being the leading exhibition for the maritime economical sector. All the very interesting conversations are now to be continued.
