Seawork 2022

Seawork took place from 21 – 23 June.

Seawork is the leading European commercial marine exhibition held at Mayflower Park in Southampton, UK.

With exhibitors and visitors from over 70 countries and more than 7,700 attendees Neander Motors was represented twice with our team at the fair, at a stand in hall 2 and with a boat on the pontoon.

Our Aftersales Manager Benjamin brought the boat with a twin installation of the Dtorque 50 turbo diesel outboard safely to the UK in time for sunrise.

The next day, the gates to the fair were opened and we were finally able to present our new stand to the visitors.

We’re grateful for our longstanding relationship with Torsten Marten and his team, our stand builders, who’ve evolved with us to create this fantastic stand using our new identity which was established to reflect Neander’s developments – as part of our journey as an independent engine manufacturer.

On the water, we had the opportunity to convince many potential customers through a close-up experience of the performance and smoothness of our Dtorque 50 turbo diesel outboard engine. Together with our partner for the UK and Ireland Berthon, we have carried out many test drives.

We are really happy about the many positive feedbacks about our engine and also about the design concept of our new stand. Thank you!

Also many thanks to our team (from left to right): Richard Whiting, Joel Reid, Duncan Green, Ben Sherwood and Hannah Green. And not in the photo because on duty as captain: Benjamin Hopkins.

All’s well that ends well.

Maybe we’ll meet at our next trade fair, the SMM Hamburg?
